Based in Brussels, Blue Bossa Liberté is a Brazilian Fusion quartet. Their repertoire consists mainly of personal compositions inspired by the Bossa Nova, jazz harmonies and Afro-Brazilian rhythms. They also play some original arrangements of pearls of Brazilian music coming from composers such as Tom Jobim, HermetoPascoal, Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso ... The group has been selected as a promising group of talent by the project Ça Balance Fédération Wallonie - Bruxelles. They have just released their second album – Monstros Tetraterriepelaticais

Holly Blue is a modern jazz band based in Brussels. The band was founded by Dutch singer Renée Steenvoorden. With three different nationalities in this band (Taiwan, Italy and The Netherlands) the band created its own sound. The band plays especially compositions by singer Renée in a modern jazz style with influences of pop and folk music. In addition they also play jazz standards in a more traditional way. Inspired by today's society, the beautiful nature and traditional folk music from Ireland and Scotland you'll hear a unique sound: melodic, catchy, surprising chords, twists and rhythms played by jazz musicians of today.

The field of action of the Quartet embraces different rhythms and decades of the MPB (Brazilian Popular Music). Chico Buarque, Joao Gilberto, Tom Jobim, and Milton Nascimento are only a few of the authors chosen by Italian vocalist Flavio Spampinato to honor what he defines “an endless universe of inspiration”. Following a jazz-derived practice of arrangement and improvisation, the Quartet, half Brazilian half European, carries out a collective work of arrangement in an acoustic yet groovy aesthetic, with a foot in the contemporary.

Janos Nagy, Erkel-awarded composer and jazz pianist plays in duo with singer-pianist Tamara Mozes since many years, on various festivals and international jazz-scenes. When Tamara sings and János ’accompanies’ her, that is to be considered a multi-layered musical performance, with both musicians showing their most effective stage personas, and playing freely with interaction. For this special occasion they selected various love songs from different eras of jazz, guiding the audience into colorful musical universes.

Harold Arlen is one of the most prolific american songwriter. He composed over 500 songs, ,a number of which have become known worldwide. He used to compose music mostly for movies or broadway musical such as the Wizard of Oz with its well known tune "Somewhere over the rainbow". This belgian quartet is  willing to pay tribute to this great composer by rearrange some of his best tunes. Come and enjoy the music of this great american songbook composer.

For the occasion, they called back the Great Dario Piccioni, a Roman doublebass player who once lived in Brussels. Accompanied by their timeless friend and virtuose Arnaud Cabay, they’ll deliver to you the most beautiful songs of Billie’s repertoire. Fabrice Mukuna is coming from Congo. He is a professional saxophonist and composer who took part in different jazz festivals in Africa. Last year he played in the Francofolies in Spa and for Afropolitan festival in Bozar. He will present his Afro Fusion/ Funk original compositions accompanied by his professional musicians. Gonzalo Rodriguez is the guitarist of the band, coming from Spain. David Ramos is the pianist, coming from Columbia. Benjamin Tequi is the Belgian drummer. Kays Frihat is the guitar bass player, coming from Tunisia. This mix of cultures will make you travel all along this fabulous concert.
