Marta Sierra is an exciting young jazz musician from Barcelona who is beginning to make her mark as a fiery violinist & vocalist. She has gained much renown in the last few years as a band leader, standing out in the crowded Barcelona Jazz scene with her hot club swing sound.

She regularly plays all over Catalonia with her band, sometimes expanding to a bigger sound with added guests. She also regularly plays in Paris, where she has had the chance to play and jam with some of the biggest jazz manouche names in France, such as Dorado Schmit, Florin Niculescu or Costel Nitescu. Her personal and artistic relationship to the city of Paris inspired Marta’s new cd, « Paris Connection.” The opus was  recorded between Barcelona, Spain and Les Sables d’Olonne, France, and made its recent release in July 2022. It is now available on all streaming platforms (Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, etc.) as well as on YouTube.
