Lisett Wever is back with her Quintet! In 2019, the singer of Dutch origin, spent two months in the US. During her solo trip, she got inspired by Jazz Jam Sessions in uptown Harlem and the Second Lines & Gospel Services in New Orleans. From Duke Ellington to Louis Armstrong, Lisett Quintet will take you on a Musical Journey across the US. Come listen to some Great Music and Anecdotes in English and French!

Federico Milone is an Italian Saxophone player & composer based in Bruxelles.
During Umbria Jazz 2012 he won a Berklee College Of Music scolarship. During 2015 he studied in New York with Antonio Hart and Chad Lefkowitz-Brown. Also in 2015 he worked with the drums master Tullio De Piscopo and played in one of the most important Italian tv programs “Porta a Porta” on Rai1. He won the 1st prize at the Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition 2017 for Solo Artists (presidents of the jury were Kurt Rosenwinkel and Fabrizio Bosso) and recorded his first album as a band leader called “Right Now”.
He played with his quartet in many Festivals & Clubs all over Italy and Europe. He has been part of the solidarity event “ Il Jazz Italiano per le terre del sisma” for many years, a charity event in support of cities of central Italy affected by the earthquake. He collaborated with the Italian Cultural Institute and played in Istanbul as a representative of Italian Jazz in Turkey. During July 2019 thanks to the victory of the “Tomorrow’s Jazz” 2018 prize , in Venice, he played three concerts during “Riga Ritmi Jazz Festival”. Also during 2019 takes part of the Tullio De Piscopo & New Band tour. He currently lives in Bruxelles where he also worked as an intern at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel as assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele.

Duke Ellington was an American pianist who was considered as the greatest jazz composer and bandleader of his time. Nowadays Stéphane Grappelli is called the "grandfather of the jazz violin",
a virtuoso violinist who inspired four generations of musicians. Frédéric Chaine and Wajdi Riahi will pay tribute to the artistic collaboration of these two jazz legends in 1963 in Paris.
This acoustic duo will perform very famous jazz standards from Duke Ellington and also less known compositions from Stéphane Grappelli. Let's swing!

A strong history lies there. EME Latin Band invites you to a musical journey through that continent.
Paying tribute to the diversity of its rhythms, while honoring their common indigeneous and African root, the quartet takes you through range of music, exploring zambas and chacareras of Argentinan steppes, explosive colombo-venezuelian joropo or the cool and large Pacifian sound of currulao. By mixing traditional sounds with the creativity of jazz, EME Latin Band creates a new musical space and moment for the ear and body to enjoy.
From the roundness of the double bass to the melodic soaring of the voice, through the syncopations of the percussions and the flying harmonies of the guitar, EME Latin Band makes you travel to new spaces and sounds.

Basile Rahola met Canarian guitar player Octavio Hernández some years ago in Barcelona. From now on, they played a lot together and recorded several albums. Octavio features on latest Basile’s release.
Tonight they will play mostly original compositions from Octavio, together with the one and only Daniel Jonkers on drums.
