This project, founded and led by Brussels double bassist and composer Ramon van Merkenstein, passionately expresses his love for contemporary jazz, while establishing an authentic connection with the audience. Rhythmic basslines blend with melodic and lyrical narrations, creating a captivating musical experience. The interaction between the members of the group is both surprising and full of creative adventures.
They are proud to present their second album, Waiting for a Summer Storm, released October 2024 under the prestigious Challenge Records label. This opus is internationally acclaimed by Le Soir, Jazz Thing and Jazz’Halo who praised its deep musicality and richness of composition.
