Prolific musician, after two critically acclaimed trio albums and various collaborations (Opera around the world of James Ellroy on the Radio France label, electro funk rereading of Don Cherry’s music with “Gary Gritness Acoustronics” among others), French saxophonist Vincent Thekal proposes a return to his first love with this quintet composed of the finest Belgian and European jazz for an evening under the sign of swing around a repertoire carved for the occasion.
