For the first time at Music Village, Phil Abraham’s ambitious project brings together jazz and baroque music. Students from David Rey’s classical trombone class will be featured, as well as Hugo Dudziak, a former student in the jazz section who recently obtained his master’s degree. Bart Vroomen will also be playing bass sackbut. The octet will be accompanied by a rhythm section featuring three of the CRB’s finest current students, for a unique evening in Belgium.
