Christophe Astolfi and Laura Dauzonne Trio
November 12 @ 20 h 30 min
15€ – 18€
Pre- and post-War songs in Paris
Laura Dauzonne (vocals), Christophe Astolfi (lead guitar), Ben Ramos (double bass)
Laura Dauzonne masters a triple musical culture: lyrical singing, armed music and realistic song. Christophe Astolfi is recognized in different worlds of jazz guitar. A swing waltz specialist, he recorded with the Ferré brothers and plays with Christian Escoudé.
Their duo is a successful marriage of all their influences and draws its repertoire from pre- and post-war Paris. Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Patachou, Henri Salvador… big names revisited with a touch reminiscent of Django Reinhardt’s guitar.
On the occasion of the sixty years of the disappearance of Edith Piaf (1963-2023) the duo created a show entirely dedicated to the Kid of which they will present some excerpts.
