Double V Quartet + Jazz Jam Session

Toon Rumen (double bass), Mindaugas Venclovas (drums)

This quartet was originally brought together by Lithuanian drummer Mindaugas Venclovas for his master’s graduation concert at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, in June 2023. All band members were, or are students at the Antwerp Conservatoire. The repertoire consists of a mix of songs by Krzysztof Komeda, Paul Motian, Tomasz Stańko, Marcin Wasilewski and others, and original compositions in the same musical spirit.
