Outer Space is a duo composed of the Brussels guitarist Basile Debroux and the Spanish clarinettist Luis-Miguel Aguilar Mula . Their sound identity is characterised by the use of languages ranging from jazz to rock, via free improvisation, creating an intimate, sometimes melancholic, sometimes humorous atmosphere. For the first time at the Music Village, the duo presents a repertoire that at first glance seems to be diverse: free-jazz, ECM ambiences, rock-jazz… a programme born of the desire to share the music of those who have accompanied them at different stages of their lives.

Melting groove invite you to come and feed your ears in an intimate yet moving atmosphere. Fasten your seatbelts and set off on a journey to Brazil (Bachianas Brasileiras n°5, Samba Em Preludio, Bumba Chora), Peru, the Mediterranean coast (Tu ase t’urpa iqavi), and many other horizons.

These concerts are presented in partnership with the festival Courants d’airs 2023 and the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles.

Exceptionnal jam session happening after the concert organised by the festival courant d’air, the 3 musicians based in Brussels are gonna play some of the famous and less famous song of the jazz repertoire to open with good vibes these jam. Pierre Baclet on the voice and the guitar, Louis Kubben behind the drums and Tristan Tarras on the doublebass
