Nirek Mokar is a 20-year-old Parisian who grew up in the 17th arrondissement. He fell in love with the Boogie Woogie piano when he had the chance to see and hear all the great Boogie-Woogie specialists play at the “Paris Boogie Speakeasy” where his father worked when he was very young.
Only 10 years ago, following the advice of his elders, he began to teach himself on the piano at the “Paris Boogie Speakeasy”, as he didn’t have a piano at home!
Fascinated by this music, as well as by Blues, Swing and Rock’n’roll, he devoted himself to it as soon as he could. Showing astonishing maturity and exceptional swing, he quickly became the darling of Boogie fans all over Paris, but not only.
