The Louis Armstrong Celebration Band brings a program and show in the spirit of Louis Armstrong’s classic All Stars. This Dutch/Belgian band consists of nothing but celebrities who have built up a solid name in the European jazz world. They play without copying the original, but do focus on the repertoire that Uncle Satchmo played in the 1940s and 1950s.
This unique ‘All Star’ company takes the audience on a journey through time when jazz invariably had a high entertainment value. The music is alive and swinging and makes the character of Louis almost tangible. The humorous presentation and singing make attending a concert a real party!
