“What If? is a project by Théo Debaisieux, a jazz pianist. It’s a set of original compositions written with the aim of experimenting with new ways of exposing sound, deepening interactions and the role of each instrument in the group. After researching into the repertoire of the great Fred Hersch, Enrico Pieranunzi and Keith Jarrett, It became very important to try and put down on paper all the inspiration they provided. And this with all the precious help of his close circle. The music is characterized by the necessary use of silence and space to express the feelings of personal experiences.
