For his first « Carte Blanche », Renaud Crols invites Tom Callens, a tremendous saxophonist whose lyrical approach could make you think about some of the greatest saxophone players in jazz history. Along with Victor Foulon, certainly one of the best double bass players around, they’ll interpret cherry-picked jazz standards going all the way from the 30’s to the 60’s.
