JAZZY STRINGS was born from a passion for gypsy jazz and the two giants Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grapelli.
This group, founded by Mario Cavaliere, Alexandre’s father, has toured Europe’s biggest festivals (Juan-Les-Pins, Nice, Marciac, Samois-sur-Seine, and Helsinki) since 1992.
Jazzy Strings has also performed with numerous guests such as Angelo Debarre, Bireli Lagrène, Didier Lockwood, Samson, and Dorado Schmitt.
The new format has added Jean Louis Rassinfosse and René de Smaele.
The group’s repertoire ranges from the compositions of Django Reinhardt to those of modern gypsy musicians.
