In the early 1950s, Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker formed a group that is considered one of the most important and original formations in the history of jazz.

Baritone saxophonist Alain Cupper and trumpet player Michel Paré, backed by Brazilian bassist Everton Rodriguez and French drummer Pierre Ferrand, revisit the repertoire, compositions and arrangements of Mulligan’s legendary Pianoless Quartet, the spearhead of the Jazz Cool era.
