The new quintet of the Slovenian bassist/composer is an eclectic group of fearless explorers all coming from a similar musical background but taking their individual paths in various directions. They are connected by Robert’s compositions which are rooted in the tradition of jazz but are at the same time looking at the balkans and contemporary eclectic musical practices. An evening of strong melodic and rhythmic content with adventoruos improvisations, a combination of fierce altoism, deep rooted trombonism, harmonic explorations and grooves.
