Almost all members if this quintet have been playing for a short ore longer time with Chet Baker. Chet was an American jazz trumpeter and vocalist. He is known for major innovations in cool jazz that led him to be nicknamed the « Prince of Cool ». Cool Jazz is a style of modern jazz music inspired by bebop and bigband that arose in the USA after World War II
It’s a tribute to Chet and the sound of cool jazz.
